1) Champagne with a Shot of Tequila +Grapefruit Liquor

It’s like a tiny (but lethal) paloma.

Shot Ingredients:

  • 0.5 ounce blanco or reposado tequila
  • 0.5 ounce grapefruit liqueur

Instructions:

Pour the ingredients into a shot glass and serve along with a glass of champagne or sparkling wine.

2) The Reverse Porn Star Martini

A classic porn star martini combines passion fruit, vanilla, and lime in a cocktail glass with a small side of champagne. But a reverse porn star martini reverses the proportions with a passion fruit vanilla shot and a full glass of bubbly.

Shot Ingredients:

  • 0.5 ounce passion fruit liqueur
  • 0.5 ounce vanilla liqueur
  • 0.5 ounce vodka or rum

Instructions:

Pour the ingredients into a small glass, stir, and serve along with a glass of champagne or sparkling wine.

3) Champagne with a Shot of Grapefruit Gin and Yellow Chartreuse

This shot is elegant, fresh, herbal, and surprisingly high-proof.

Shot Ingredients:

  • 0.5 ounce yellow chartreuse
  • 0.5 ounce grapefruit gin

Instructions:

Pour the ingredients into a shot glass, stir, and serve along with a glass of champagne or sparkling wine.

4) Champagne with a Shot of Absinthe and Creme De Mure

It tastes like boozy, fruity licorice. You can drink as a shot with your champagne, or if you prefer, combine them for a dark twist on a Death in the Afternoon.

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 ounce crème de mûre (blackberry) liqueur
  • 0.5 ounce absinthe

Instructions:

Pour the ingredients into a shot glass and serve along with a glass of champagne or sparkling wine.

Happy new year. Stay hydrated.
