…It’s time to start cheating on our new year’s resolutions, right?
I’ve been trying to make a really killer root beer float cocktail for awhile now, but I was stubbornly stuck on making it with bourbon. It wasn’t working out. This time, I tried making one with rum and the departure totally paid off.
- 2oz dark spiced rum
- 3/4oz almond liqueur
- 3 dashes of Scrappy’s cardamom bitters
- One scoop of high quality Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream
- Fill to the brim with premium root beer
- Garnish with a vanilla bean (and throw in a paper straw if you’re feeling Pinterest-y)
